Every September, hundreds of young people gather at the Master’s feet for The Great Awakening, an annual youth revival conference organised by Touching Lives Network.

The Great Awakening began in September 2020 with a compelling conviction: a generation that genuinely encounters God will transform its world. What started as a little vision to awaken young hearts has grown into a significant annual gathering, attracting hundreds of participants from all walks of life.

The conference exists to rekindle young people’s passion for God, deepen their hunger for intimate fellowship with the person, presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and equip believers for effective Christian living and service.

Through prayer, worship, the preaching of God’s Word, impartation and meaningful Christian fellowship, The Great Awakening provides an atmosphere where young people can encounter God, rediscover their purpose and receive strength for their Christian journey.

Seven Years, Seven Prophetic Themes

Since its inception, each edition of The Great Awakening has been guided by a distinct spiritual theme reflecting the message and emphasis for that year:

  • 2020 – Exceeding Grace, Ephesians 2:7
  • 2021 – Deliver Us from Evil, John 17:15
  • 2022 – The Days of His Power, Psalm 110:3
  • 2023 – Burning and Shining Lights, John 5:35
  • 2024 – The Outpouring of the Spirit, Acts 2:16-17
  • 2025 – The Manifestation of the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:7
  • 2026 – Miracles, Signs and Wonders, Mark 16:17–20

Each year’s theme has been more than a conference slogan; it has carried a distinct spiritual call to a generation. Through the years, participants have been reminded of God’s exceeding grace, awakened to the days of His power, called out of darkness, challenged to burn and shine for Christ, and invited to experience the outpouring and manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

At the 7th anniversary, the journey advances under the theme “Miracles, Signs and Wonders,” drawn from Mark 16:17–20. The 2026 gathering will inspire believers to expect the supernatural, demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit and boldly share the gospel, believing that God still saves, heals, delivers and transforms lives.

A Growing Spiritual Impact

Over the years, The Great Awakening has made a significant impact on the lives of young people. Each edition provides an opportunity for participants to renew their commitment to Christ, strengthen their relationship with God and receive direction for their spiritual lives.

The conference challenges young believers to move beyond merely attending church and embrace an active, fruitful Christian life. Participants are encouraged to develop consistent prayer lives, study God’s Word, pursue holiness, discover their God-given purpose and use their gifts in service to God’s kingdom and society.

The impact extends beyond the conference itself. Participants return to their churches, schools, workplaces and communities with renewed passion, stronger convictions and a greater desire to represent Christ. Friendships are formed, faith is strengthened, spiritual gifts are stirred, and many young people are inspired to become agents of positive change wherever God has placed them.

With attendance reaching approximately 500 people, The Great Awakening has become an important platform for bringing young believers together across different churches and backgrounds. It creates a shared space where they can worship, pray, learn and experience the unifying power of the Holy Spirit.

Anointed Voices Through the Years

Over the years, The Great Awakening has hosted respected ministers of the gospel who have blessed participants through biblical teaching, prophetic ministry, prayer and spiritual impartation. Speakers who have ministered at various editions include:

Awakening Junior: Raising the Next Generation

An important feature of the conference is its dedicated children’s wing, known as Awakening Junior.

Awakening Junior ensures that children are not left out of the revival experience. It provides a welcoming and age-appropriate environment where children can learn God’s Word, worship, pray and participate in activities designed to build their faith.

The children’s wing reflects Touching Lives Network’s belief that spiritual awakening should begin early. Children can know God personally, experience His love and power, and grow in their relationship with Him.

Awakening Junior is therefore more than a children’s programme. It is an investment in the next generation — raising children who will love God, live by His Word and become burning and shining lights in their generation.

Volume 7: Miracles, Signs and Wonders

Seven years of gathering young people, proclaiming the gospel and creating opportunities for genuine encounters with God. From Exceeding Grace in 2020 to Miracles, Signs and Wonders in 2026, the journey of The Great Awakening is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, power and transforming presence.

Yet the vision remains unchanged: to see a generation revived, equipped and released to transform its world through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Great Awakening is more than an annual conference. It is a call to revival, a platform for spiritual formation and a movement committed to raising young believers who are deeply rooted in Christ and prepared to serve God’s purposes in their generation.
