"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Fear is one of the greatest battles people face. Fear of failure, fear of the future, fear of rejection, and fear of uncertainty can limit our potential and prevent us from walking fully in God's purpose.
The Bible does not ignore fear. Many great men and women of faith experienced moments of fear. Moses felt inadequate when God called him. Joshua faced the intimidating responsibility of leading Israel. David faced a giant that seemed impossible to defeat.
The difference was not that they never felt fear. The difference was that they trusted a God who was greater than their fears.
God's command, "Fear not," is always connected to His promise, "I am with you." God does not ask us to be courageous because we are strong enough on our own. He calls us to courage because His presence strengthens us.
Fear focuses on the size of the problem. Faith focuses on the greatness of God.
When Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water, he succeeded as long as his eyes were fixed on Jesus. The moment he focused on the waves, fear overwhelmed him. This reminds us that what captures our attention often controls our emotions.
Every day, we have a choice: to be controlled by fear or guided by faith. We can allow circumstances to define our future, or we can trust the God who holds our future.
God has not given us a spirit of fear. Through the Holy Spirit, He gives us power, love, and a sound mind. Whatever challenge you face today, remember that you do not face it alone.

What fear has been preventing me from fully trusting God?
Application
Identify one fear you have been carrying. Pray over it and replace that fear with a promise from God's Word.
Prayer
Father, thank You that Your presence is greater than my fears. Strengthen my heart when I feel uncertain. Help me walk in faith, knowing that You are with me and will never abandon me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
