Faith approaches God with expectation because it trusts His character. It believes that He hears prayer, keeps His promises, and remains able to do what human strength cannot accomplish. Our confidence is not based on favorable circumstances but on the goodness, wisdom, and power of God.
Biblical expectation is not an attempt to control God. We do not dictate exactly how or when He must answer. Faith prays boldly while submitting the outcome to His perfect will. It holds confidence and surrender together, believing that God's answer will always reflect His greater wisdom.
Unanswered prayer can challenge our expectation. During seasons of delay, we may wonder whether God has forgotten us. At those times, we must anchor ourselves in who He is rather than what we see. Delay does not mean abandonment, and silence does not mean that God is inactive.
Faith grows through the Word of God. As we remember His works, meditate on His promises, and hear the testimonies of His faithfulness, our confidence becomes stronger. We begin to pray with courage and take steps of obedience that fear would otherwise prevent.
Expect God to work, but remain open to answers that differ from your plans. Sometimes He changes the circumstances immediately. Sometimes He opens an unexpected path, asks us to wait, or changes us within the difficulty. In every situation, His presence remains the believer's greatest assurance.
Bring your need before God today without hiding behind disappointment. Ask, seek, and knock. Then act upon the truth He has already revealed. Faith does not require us to understand the entire journey; it trusts the faithful One enough to take the next obedient step.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, strengthen my faith. Help me expect You to work while remaining surrendered to Your wisdom. Deliver me from unbelief and teach me to trust Your character through every delay. In Jesus' name, Amen.
