"By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
Jesus identified love as the visible mark of His disciples. The world may not understand every part of Christian doctrine, but it should be able to recognize the way Christ's followers care for one another. Our relationships become a living demonstration of the gospel we proclaim.
Revival should deepen this love. If spiritual passion produces pride, competition, gossip, suspicion, or division, something has gone wrong. The Holy Spirit does not exalt one believer by teaching them to despise another. He leads God's people toward humility, honor, unity, patience, and forgiveness.
Loving deeply does not mean avoiding truth or pretending conflict does not exist. Biblical love speaks truth with grace, confronts problems humbly, establishes wise boundaries when necessary, and pursues restoration rather than revenge. It cares about both the person's wellbeing and the health of the relationship.
This kind of love can be costly. It serves when inconvenient, listens before judging, forgives when wounded, and remains faithful when emotions change. We are able to love because Christ first loved us. His sacrifice becomes both the source and pattern of our love.
Unity does not require complete agreement about every preference. It means that our shared allegiance to Jesus is greater than the differences that might divide us. Mature believers learn to distinguish essential truth from personal opinion and refuse to destroy relationships over matters of pride.
A loving church becomes a powerful witness. When people from different backgrounds live as one family under Christ, the gospel becomes visible. Ask God to remove resentment, jealousy, and indifference from your heart. Let revival produce relationships that reveal the deep, patient, and restoring love of Jesus.

Is there a believer toward whom I have allowed resentment, jealousy, suspicion, or indifference to grow?
Application
Take one step toward reconciliation. Pray for the person, speak graciously, apologize if necessary, or offer practical kindness.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, fill me with the love of Christ. Remove pride, resentment, and division from my heart. Teach me to forgive, serve, honor, and speak truthfully so the world may recognize that we belong to Jesus. In His name, Amen.
