Rooted in the Word
Blessed is the one whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.
A tree does not strive to bear fruit — it simply stays rooted where the water flows. In the same way, fruitfulness in the Christian life is not produced by effort alone but by remaining rooted in God's Word.
Today, choose one verse and stay with it. Read it slowly. Pray it back to God. Let your roots go a little deeper.
