Every day we make decisions that shape our lives. Some choices are small, while others have lasting consequences. Because we do not know everything, we need God's wisdom to guide us.
Human knowledge can provide information, but God's wisdom provides direction. Knowledge tells us what is possible; wisdom helps us understand what is right.
God promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask. He is not a reluctant Father who hides guidance from His children. He desires to lead us because He knows the path ahead.
Solomon was known as one of the wisest people in history. When God gave him the opportunity to ask for anything, Solomon did not ask for wealth or power—he asked for wisdom to lead God's people. God honored that request.
True wisdom begins with humility. It requires recognizing that God's understanding is greater than ours. Pride says, "I know best." Wisdom says, "Lord, guide me."
God's wisdom is revealed through Scripture, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When we seek Him before making decisions, He provides clarity and direction.
