The gospel is the good news of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. It announces that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Through Him, forgiveness and new life are available to everyone who believes.
Our greatest problem could not be solved by education, wealth, or good intentions. Sin separated us from God, and we could not restore that relationship through our own efforts. God reached us through His Son and provided the salvation we could never achieve for ourselves.
At the cross, Jesus carried our sins and bore their judgment. His sacrifice reveals both the seriousness of sin and the depth of God's love. Forgiveness is available because Christ gave Himself for us.
The resurrection assures us that death did not defeat Jesus. He is alive, and those who trust in Him receive a living hope. The gospel offers more than an improved way of life; it brings us into a restored relationship with God.
We receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We turn from sin and entrust ourselves to Him. We do not need to make ourselves worthy before coming, because His mercy welcomes those who recognize their need.
The gospel also shapes our daily lives. Knowing that we have been forgiven teaches us to forgive. Knowing that we are loved strengthens us to love. Knowing that Christ has rescued us gives us a reason to share His good news.
Whatever your past contains, it does not place you beyond the reach of God's mercy. Come to Jesus with faith. His saving power is sufficient to forgive you, renew you, and give your life a new direction.

Have I placed my confidence in Jesus Christ, or am I depending on my good works to make me acceptable to God?
Application
Read 1 Corinthians 15:1–4. Thank Jesus for His death and resurrection, and explain the good news in your own words to someone willing to listen.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus to save me. Help me to trust fully in His finished work and turn away from sin. Let the power of the gospel transform my life, and give me boldness to share Your love with others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
